Koinos PLS 8
Your rig. One screen.
Soundcheck is running short. One preset needs one small change. Out comes the laptop.
We have carried touchscreens in our pockets for twenty years. Switchers never noticed.
The part we inherited
This audio path stands on older shoulders.
Bob Bradshaw’s Custom Audio Electronics defined professional guitar routing in the 1980s. RJM carried that standard forward, and their systems earned the trust of players worth trusting. Some of those units are older than the musicians touring with them, and still on the road.
We set out to learn that sound. Not to beat it.
The part we did not
What we chose not to inherit is the place where decisions happen.
An 8.88-inch colour touch display, on the unit itself. At rehearsal, or mid-show if it comes to that. No laptop.
Reorder your pedals with a touch.
No cables. Saved per preset.
Choose what your pickups see.
500 kΩ or 1 MΩ input, selected on screen.
Forget CC numbers.
478 devices and over 21,000 MIDI parameters, on the unit.
Built in seasons. A set number, then the season closes.
Each production season is opened, filled, and closed. When it closes, it closes.
